Why Pigeons Fight

Hi there, All Pigeon Lovers

If you have been keeping pigeons a while, you would have seen your birds fighting from time to time. 

For those who are still fairly new to pigeon keeping, I found a website that gives brief info pertaining to the various reasons pigeons fight.  Here's a link 🔗Why pigeons fight. 

Of course it's mostly the cocks that fight, but occasionally the hens might fight as well, especially when they're on eggs or protecting their young. 

Here's a short video clip of two of my cocks that got into a fight.

The blue pied stencil cock is protecting his territory as well as the young squabs, which you unfortunately can't see in this video.  The red cock returned after a few months (I gave it to a friend) and decided to reclaim his territory.

Let's see what happens:
